Inspiration is a great tool that anyone can use when you are designing a website. Inspiration can come from anywhere, like going to the park instead of the office to gather ideas, going to the library to drink coffee while looking at books that reflect your design, or just sitting in the office looking at great websites.

In this article we provide you with the websites that always give us a spark of inspiration. We will look at blogs, galleries, and much more. We use all of these websites on a daily basis to get ideas for future designs as well as current designs. I must point out that you should NEVER copy something you see with the intent of selling it. That is just lazy. These website are meant to stir your imagination to get the juices flowing....they should be your inspiration, not your template. Having said that we hope that you find these website to be as influential as we have.

Webdesigner Depot

Webdesigner depot is great inspiration website because they provide you with FREE vector images, almost daily tutorials or posts, and their website is amazingly beautiful. We have read almost every post made by them and we have learned "10 Places to Sell Template","30 Useful Web Design Books for 2009", and so much more. I highly recommend them for anyone looking to see what is currently going on in the website design world.

WebDesigner Wall

Webdesigner wall is a great blog just like Webdesigner Depot. They have informative tutorials, great posts, and they even have a job board. This is the job board we mentioned in our "Freelance Design Tools" blog post.

net tuts+

net tuts+ is part of a great network of blogs that provide you with great inspiration and tutorials from other websites. Use the community link feed to see websites outside of the tuts+ community for even more inspiration. If you have tutorials that you would like share with the community you can get paid $150 for it....pretty good deal if you want to share your knowledge.

deviantART is a great website to see other designer's work. You can see the work of people all around the world, this work includes digital art, website design, photoshop brushes, flash, and drawings.

The Best Designs

At The Best Designs you can see work of other web masters from all over the world. Only the best of the net gets put up on this site. You can use this site to browse some of the designs that are winning awards and get some inspiration from them.

CSS MANIA

CSS Mania provides you with some of the best CSS designed websites on the internet. Most of these website fit the new trends and can provide you with great ideas of what is to come to website design.

DESIGNM.AG

DESIGNM.AG is a great tool for designers. They not only provide a job board but they give great tutorials as well or you can see the showcase of designs. If you want your designs featured in the gallery then you can use the "Submit to Gallery" link at the top.
