UPDATE: The Saints have won the superbowl and I could not be happier. I have been a fan of New Orleans all of my life, or at least as far as I can remember. Brees, Shockey, Bush, all the guys pulled out a great win against one of the best teams in the NFL....The Colts. The game was great all the way through and it was one of the best Superbowl games I have ever watched with an ending score of 31-17.
It only took 42 seasons, but I am hopeful for next year (hopefully all of the players stay to continue the legacy). So many records were broken that night, it was one hell of a game. END UPDATE
I know this is a website design blog but I just can't help myself....the New Orleans Saints rocked the house today.
Remember, Gaux Saints!
For all you non Saints fans I am referring to Game 5 against the New York Giants. The Giants are one of the best teams in the NFL, but they really did not have a chance against the Saints from the start. Mike Bell started the avalanche of touchdowns that would eventually make the Giants lose all hope of recovering. In the last few minutes they were so far ahead that Drew Brees was able to sit out to save him from potential injury and to better prepare him for the upcoming game.
With a final score of 48-27 I would say that the Saints are a major contender to be reckoned with this year. So far they are undefeated after five games, for the third time in their franchise history....that is saying a lot. They have defeated some of the best teams in the league and I am sure that we will see a lot from these guys in the next few weeks. Good luck guys.
Who dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints? Who dat? Who dat?
Now, that I got that out of my system, back to the regular posts tomorrow.
