These questions are the most common questions we get at Zero 3 Computers. If your question cannot be answered below, please refer to our Help Desk to fill out a support ticket or use our contact page to ask us a question. We prefer the use of our Help Desk since we can sometimes be bombarded with questions and some emails may take longer to get to.

Where are you located and do you have a store front?
We are located in Biloxi, MS. We do not have a office, but will have a local office location in the future. For the moment we only offer online sales but are available for face to face consultations.

At the moment, we freelance and work from our homes. My home is always open for client consults, so please call me to setup and appointment that is good for you as well as me.

What type of websites do you design?
We design websites ranging from personal to corporate. Our sites are designed with you in mind. We do not make you purchase any style or layout, and do not even start until you approve the design. Its your site, an extension of you so you get to decide what you want it to look like. We just code it.

Although we will design for almost any type of site we do not design cruel or racist websites. If you would like to see our past work please visit our portfolio or read our client reviews.

Do you do SEO?
We design your site to be as SEO friendly as possible. We make sure your keyword rich content is used like it should be.

What is your design and development process?
Without giving away to many secrets I will try to answer this one:

• First, we have an initial meeting with our client and we get the contracts signed or discuss needs and wants for the next meeting.
• Once the contract is signed we design a wire frame mockup or image design based on the meetings we have had.
• Upon sign off of the initial design, we being the basic HTML work. We make sure all HTML is valid and looks right in all browsers and the most used resolutions.
• We upload the site to our mockup website so you can view your site live and online.
• We then begin work on the code behind and the database.
• After all work is completed we give you admin access to the mockup version so you can either test our custom CMS or create content for your site.
• If needed, we purchase your domain or transfer your domain and we upload all files and database information to the new domain.
• After vigorous testing we publish your site to be spidered and visible online.
• After the push phase we being implementing and pushing all optional needs like SEO, social networking, reporting, etc.
• You live happily ever after!

What is your general turn around time?
That is a loaded question....but usually for basic websites it can be anywhere from 2 weeks to 1 month. For your more complex websites, it can take many months to complete the project. So, basically, this all depends on what you need and what your requirements are.

Do you offer hosting?
We offer hosting to our clients only. Due to server space, we do not offer hosting packages to the general public. Our hosting includes unlimited email addresses, sub-domains, databases, and has 99% up time. Our servers are reliable and held off site for better protection.

Are you registered as a business?
Yes. We are registered with the state of Mississippi as Zero 3 Computers, LLC and we are also a registered employer with the IRS. We have a business license to operate as a website design firm.

Do you work with Non Profits?
We have worked with non profit organizations in the past and are willing to work with them in the future.

Depending on the size of the site you have and the requirements you present us with we can negotiate your rate to where it is suitable for you and for us. We can even offer donated time if the situation calls for it. This is purely up to us and can be rejected during our initial discussion with you.

Your Website

Can I modify the website once you are finished or am I stuck with the default?
Of course you can edit a site once we have finished. We offer a extensive, dynamic admin section that allows you to edit almost anything on the site. Of course this is only if you want to do that. We can design the page to suit you so you never have to change it again, but we recommend letting us give you a way to change when you need to.

What language is my site design with?
We can program in most major languages but we like to use PHP and mySQL to develop our client's websites.

How does my site look on a mobile phone?
The all depends on what you paid for. we design websites that are view able on all major browsers at most newer resolutions in order to decrease design time for us and paid time for you.

However, we do offer a mobile version of your site if you need it. We can either design a responsive design that responds to whatever resolution the viewer uses, or we can design a mobile version of your current website using a subdomain such as m.yourdomain.com.

Payment

How do we pay for website design?
We accept a variety of payment options like cash, check, credit, Google checkout, and Paypal. We require 50% upfront and the remaining balance to be paid when the website is completed. We will not be able to upload your site until the final payment has been made.

We also offer payment plans for people who would like to pay monthly for their site instead of having to come up with a large sum upfront.

What are your monthly fees?
We do not charge a monthly rate for our service unless you opt to pay month on your balance.

Our monthly payment plans are tailored to your needs. Basically, it is a payment plan where your project cost is spread out for 6 months. You pay for each month on the 1st.

Even if you website takes 1 month to design and develop, you can opt for the monthly plan. If you ever decide to not pay, your website will be taken down and no previously paid premiums will be refunded.

We reserve the right to refuse the monthly option if we feel your project will not benefit us or you in the long run.

Do you offer maintenance plans?
We offer a wide variety of maintenance plans to choose from. Our prices for monthly maintenance range from #35 to $500 a month depending on your needs.

You can pick and choose your options to either lower or raise the price of your options. We can meet your budget within reason.

We contract in 6 month increments but you can opt out at any time with 1 month prior warning in either written form or an email. The opt out does not cause an extra fee, but your previously paid premium will not be refunded, even if you opt out in the middle of the month.
