Mississippi's Leading Website Design Firm on Google

Mwpcoa Design Project

The Mississippi Water and Pollution Control Operators' Association, Inc. is an independent, non-profit organization managed by its membership and supported by membership subscriptions, short courses, the Mississippi State Department of Health and the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality, Office of Pollution Control.

The previous MWPCOA website was outdated and hard to update. I gave this organization a face lift and a general understanding of how to properly update a website using a custom CMS.

All in all, their website is huge and has way to many pages to list individually, but I will try to get most of the important ones on here.

Their homepage features not only a slide show gallery but a interactive calendar that display events in real time. Clicking the link leads you to the event page where you can view information about the event, map it on Google, and it also allows you to register and pay for the event. Pricing is updated based on selections you make.

The districts and district members have their own page that includes an interactive map that follows you around the screen as you browse the information about the districts. The map is color-coded to help you navigate the districts with ease.

Overall the site has a very professional look and contains a massive amount of information that any water / waste water operator will find useful.

The entire MWPCOA site contains valid XHTML, and valid CSS 2.1. MWPCOA completion time was about 1 month.
