The Reading Road Design Project

The Reading Road was a project that at the moment will not be published. Due to the amount of work that we put into the front end, we are adding it to our portfolio for future clients to see. It was the first of its kind to come out of our firm. A side scrolling website that told a story.

Since the website is for an author of children's books we wanted to make the website as kid friendly as possible and give it a flair that made it feel like a book. Thus we created an imaginative side scroller that allowed you to either click the links to proceed in the site of follow the "bee" and find secrets throughout the site.

Unfortunately, disagreements were made toward the finalization of the project and it has been put on hold for the moment, but we are hopeful that one day this site will be seen by the masses.

The entire The Reading Road site contains valid XHTML, and valid CSS 2.1. The Reading Road completion time was about 2 months.
