Rock Star Runners Design Project

RockStarRunners is a Gulf Coast company that provides Production Assistants and Runners to the stars. They have worked closely with hundreds of top name entertainers from all genres, for almost two decades.

Some of the stars they have worked with include Alan Jackson, BB King, Reba and Kelly Clarkson, Fleetwood Mac, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Derks Bentley, Cher,Cirque Du Soleil, Alabama, Brad Paisley, Sugarland, and Trace Adkins to name a few. They also have a good reputation with local companies like the IP Casino, The Beau Rivage, the MS Coast Coliseum among other large venues on the coast.

The RockStarRunners website features a new style gallery that we implemented using jquery, css, and a little bit of PHP code. If view in any browser besides IE you can see a Polaroid like gallery that shows images scattered throughout the page ready for you to move or zoom in on. We also created a paging system to go with it in order to prevent the pictures from making the page load time crawl. The effect came out looking awesome.

The entire RockStarRunners site contains valid XHTML, and valid CSS 2.1. RockStarRunners completion time was about 2 weeks.
